for Carla Bruni-Sarkozy at Julliard in NYC, where she performed a song in Portuguese while playing the theramin. She demonstrated to the first lady of France a technology where a singer's backup vocals can be connected to a theramin to bring dramatic swells in volume by using one's hand. The performance was an excerpt from a brilliant piece of music composed for Pilobolus by Ed Bilous.
